SPARK 2016 | ADG’s Design Team Summit

Our production floor was eerily quiet a couple Thursdays ago. No printers were humming, X-Acto knives were tucked away in drawers, and computer screens were black. A daylong sabbatical, Designers withdrew from their computer desk chair thrones (and in Sarah’s case, her exercise ball) to convene offsite for SPARK, the 2016 Design Team Summit for a day of design inspiration to reignite their creative spark. Leading the troop on this day of workshops, discussions, and presentations was Studio Director, Maribel Costa and Creative Directors, Linda Rochelle, Mary Wilcox, and Todd Fidelman.

Hip Spoofs

Hipsters seem to be the target of ridicule du jour. Perhaps it is because they make it just so easy to poke fun. ADG and the ADDY Triple Crown: Together for Good (Again)

To our friends, clients, and colleagues, Another year of “ADDY Fever” has come and gone in the Baltimore Advertising community, and – as always – the event was filled with Bawl’mer allure, “hon-hair,” and Bergers Cookies (if you’re not from here, you wouldn’t get it). This year’s theme spoke loud and clear that pride for our beloved city is stronger than ever, and it shone brightly for all attendees at the Baltimore Museum of Industry!

Top 10 Tuesday: Swinging 60s Design Inspiration

I love 60s design and the mid-century modern movement. The minimalist nature of the design, the bright colors, the ingenuity in advertising. I’m a Danish modern furniture and stone-glazed pottery addict; finding vintage mod clothing at affordable prices makes me happier than snuggling with puppies.
